For this event [ _ _ _ ], the network music ensemble formed by the artists Li Song, Liu Jia, and Tan Shuoxin, all originally from Mainland China, presented a collaborative algorithmic music performance from their current locations in the UK and Germany. They each live-coded their algorithms while connected through a communication mechanism they have created, the algorithms then were live-interpreted into sound in the bunker space at HKBU AVA Kai Tak campus, from where the live-stream was broadcast.
The performance was followed by a Q&A between the artists and Edward Sanderson.
